1) The Sarasota Native American Indian Festival
The Sarasota Indian Festival takes place January 22, 23, 24 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, from 9-5 Friday, 10-6, Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.

Come join us and experience the traditions, artistry and culture of the Native American people. Meet artists from many nations sharing their many styles of artwork such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work leather work, flute and drum makers.

Little Big Mountain and the Big Mountain Dancers will be returning as our guest drum this year. Also, Nashville recording artist Traci Snowe will be sharing her beautiful music with us throughout the weekend.

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize, although he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef.
