2) Company
Organization: Theatre Zone

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried state. In vignette after hilarious vignette, we are introduced to "those good and crazy people," his married friends, as Robert weighs the pros and cons of married life. In the end, he realizes being alone is "alone, not alive." The clashing sounds and pulsing rhythms of New York City underscore this landmark "concept" show, considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theatre. 3) God of Carnage

Now a major motion picture by Roman Planski, 2009's multiple Tony-winning BEST PLAY is a laugh-out-loud comedy of bad manners! Two sets of Brooklyn parents lock antlers over a playground scuffle. Diplomacy quickly goes out the window and the gloves come off as civility turns into animal instinct. From the author of Art comes this Broadway sensation that the New York Daily News called "Brutally entertaining!" For more information and times then call 239-332-4488.

Bernstein's sparkling and witty Overture to Candide, one of the most popular curtain-raisers in the symphonic repertory, opens this wide-ranging program. The second half of the program will feature Prokofiev's epic Fifth Symphony, conceived as a symphony to the greatness of the human spirit, which the composer considered his finest work.
